Primrose & Aubretia

Pretty windy here, i can tell you. not sure using big lens (albeit) on a Tripod, is such a good idea. just above these primrose are our  Espalier loganberry almost in flower. A riotous time as  bumblers go bonkers for them. Three species, Common Carder, white tail and red tail. 
So i spent  an hour at the table in back garden familiarising myself with long lens. Brain injuries i tell you, I forget the daftest things. Found myself staring at my camera the other day, thinking what the hell is this black thing hanging round my neck. Nearly threw it on the floor.
I dunno...anyway bumblers are comin. Aim, the crucifix
