Back On Ham Hill

Tess & I met up with our friends Rog & Jo (and Carly the Retriever) for a walk and a spot of lunch on Ham Hill this morning. 

This is the view from just below the pub, a view that I used to particularly enjoy in the days when I used to run up here during the school lunch hours as the track that winds down the hill marked the final descent back to school! ( I should have brought the long secateurs to prune that overhanging branch out of the frame!)

We had a largely lazy afternoon when we got back.
