Basilica of Saint Margaret of Cortona

We caught up with good friends of ours in the Tuscan hills today over lunch, then headed to Cortona with them where we’re staying for a few days. We all headed out for an evening walk and rather spectacularly found ourselves following the 14 Stations of the Cross up a steep footpath. Our reward at the top was this lovely Basilica bathed in beautiful sunset light. I’m coming back tomorrow for some more!
