Japanese Kimono

We don't have a dressing-up box, but stored away we do have this Japanese kimono. It came out today as it will be in use this evening. We think it is probably between 80 - 100 years old. The vibrancy of the colours is still astounding, and having taken the photograph I have found it hard to take my eyes away from it. It seems to possess a transcendental quality and to be perfect in every detail.
