Mandarin Ducks

We had a complete change of scenery this afternoon when we visited Yarrow Valley Park at Birkacre, near Chorley.
We'd already seen some colourful sights, such as Bluebells, Wild Garlic and Wood Sorell, as well as a Grebe, Robin and Pochard, but we were then treated to the most amazingly coloured Mandarin Duck with its relatively dull female!!
What an awesome bird to see up close, as the colours are stunning!
