Such Nice Vets

We’ve been so fortunate to have met so many lovely vets. Today it was a soft tissue vet from Dublin. He explained in clear and honest terms what the operation to try and remove the tumour would entail. We decided not to go down the surgery route. We will talk to oncology and work out a care plan. We will probably talk to neurology too because the back issue is still lurking and was possibly the reason for the flare up at the weekend.
Meanwhile Mr L remains a sweetheart. When we came back into the waiting room he walked up to a young girl who was sitting on her own and put his head in her lap. She gave him a cuddle and said “my puppy is in having a scan. I’m very worried but you’ve just cheered me up.”
