A dear green place

No, not Glasgow, although it is dear to my heart too. This is another shot of the ruins of the abbey of Deir, some two miles from home. I blipped this shot on a cold frosty morning in February, see

It was a completely different experience this morning on a glorious spring day that felt almost warm, 16 degrees by this afternoon. What was not different though was the calming effect this beautiful place has on my soul. It seemed very appropriate that my 100th blip would feature these old stones. Sometimes we just connect to places in ways we don't currently understand but I've no doubt that in centuries to come scientists will be able to explain these mysteries at a molecular level. Me, at this moment in time I am content to blame my mystic side on my Irish genes!
