Midgeley Wood at Dusk

Took Lottie for a walk in Midgeley Wood as the sun was going down. It's been a beautiful day and now a lovely evening. The birds were singing their socks off and the bell ringers were practicing in Saltaire Congregation Church. Absolutely delightful.

I still find it strange to see all the boulders strewn around the landscape. They are really interesting with a covering of lichen and moss to add to the texture and colour. You would pay a fortune in a garden centre in the south for one of those for the garden!!!
