City of Churches

Is how Adelaide is/was known. Finished my marking today, or so I thought until this evening. A colleague’s mother is very sick so we’ve had the load shared.
Walked from the city to North Adelaide tonight to see old Uni friends - they’ve moved into an apartment so much more manageable. Lovely to see them.
Sadly we learned tonight that the biopsy shows Mum has cancer in her liver. We are hoping the doctor will tell us more tomorrow.
