The one you have been waiting for...

This is the wood chip pile at the allotments. This is a rare sight as no sooner has it appeared, word gets around and it disappears again. I use them to create temporary paths on my allotment and as they rot down I can either top up with more chips or dig them in if the path is no longer needed.
The extra is to keep you updated on the great gin experiment: the smaller gin first bottle has extracted a lot more colour from the rhubarb than the sugar first jar. First half of the gin now in the large jar after 24 hours of sugar-induced osmosis
