A very damp day .....

...... and like many others today I avoided the beach. I could hear the waves pounding on the sand but even that wasn't enough to tempt me.

We had coffee with two holiday friends this morning and that started at 10 and it was nearly 1 o'clock by the time we had our farewell hugs.

Home tomorrow morning after I've had my 8.30am haircut .... Loraine is opening early just for me. Normally a later appointment is not a problem but there is a funeral tomorrow that we feel we should attend.

This rather damp Pulsatilla is growing in the Elie garden and by the time we come back through the flowers may be finished.
