Spring

I haven't been anywhere at all today, so here's one I made earlier. Yesterday evening I developed a sore throat and a headache, woke up in the small hours feeling even rougher, so I wasn't a bit surprised when I did a Covid test this morning and it was positive. It seemed inevitable. I've spent the day in bed ... S is not unduly concerned about catching it from me as he had it only two months ago.

Did some knitting, doom-scrolled the news, tried to read the mind-numbingly boring Javier Cercas book for my French book group. Yes, it's one of those books with no dialogue and nothing happening that this group specialises in. And 300 pages long ...
