Water polo ?

Stuck for a blip? Wander aimlessly around the garden until you find something. Chickens, treehouse, log piles, zip wire…. Odd bits of stuff floating in the river..

Last day at work for a few days, seemed to go quite well. We made a major breakthrough on an issue that has been causing me a lot of grief and I had lunch with a former colleague who I haven’t seen for probably 12 years.

He started with us when he was very young,
a great coder but occasionally a little forthright with his views ( I say occasionally, I mean most days ). But he was good. He was with us for a few years as we built the team, delivered some great work but eventually outgrew us and left for another agency. He was there for a few years and then set up his own agency which is absolutely flying.

It was good to catch up over a pint and some lunch and hear his story, really pleased for his success and looking forward to another pint. Perhaps we won’t wait 12 years this time.
