Busy day

Phew what a busy day. Cannon was off early to the mainland for food shopping and drainage pipes. We had our last outdoor playgroup on the beach, S came and I took her sgoil-àraich pal with us to keep her occupied and distracted, it worked pretty well. I buried 10 plastic farm animals in the sand and covered it with dry seaweed and sticks for the children to find, 9 animals came out of the sand but a goat went missing and we couldn’t find it anywhere. Someone will dig it up and laugh. After the beach I took S and her pal back to our house and they played all afternoon which gave me an unexpected few hours of peace. Cannon returned home with an apocalyptic amount of shopping which I’ve spent the evening unpacking.
