National Archives
Today, fellow Blipper W and I went to the National Archives at Kew. We wanted to visit their current exhibition - 1920s: Beyond The Roar - which runs until the 11 June and marks the release of the 1921 Census. It wasn't very big, but it was very interesting. There were documents, textile samples, lonely hearts adverts and a re-creation of the infamous 43 Club in Soho.
In the afternoon we spent some time on the computers searching for family members' details recorded in the 1921 Census.
The grounds were large with fountains, ponds and plenty of benches to sit and contemplate. The extra is an installation in the entranceway.
A good day and thanks to Blipper jennym999 who recommended it in her blip earlier in the year.
