Generally a fan of not buying what you can borrow. Thankfully lots of my friends and the community in general here seem to agree so there's always stuff going back, forward and around.  
Finally caved and had to buy a drill. Important exciting jobs to be finished in a hurry. 
Acquired bits though so not gone the whole way!
