Bus Pass Walk

Bus to Gilstead this morning, and then a walk to Milner Field and back to Bingley alongside the river and then the canal.  The river wasn’t as high as the last time we walked along here,  and looking back as we passed the rowing club I liked the reflections in the water.  It started raining steadily as we got halfway through the walk.  Extras show the ghost sign building by the weir, the calm river, the bridge with a view to Dowley Gap locks through the arch, and we saw bluebells!  Plenty of celandines and wood anemones along the river bank, but in a week or two there will be a mass of lovely bluebells as well.  Refreshments were taken at The Loft - very nice as always.  Will have to backblip the last couple of days.  Got out of sync as usual!
