Busy as a....

While pottering around the garden, and finally mowing the lawn, I spotted this black bee working over the wallflowers. Apparently this is Mrs Hairy-footed Flower Bee, and appears in gardens in early spring; she can also hover, though I didn't manage to catch a decent photo of her doing so!  Mr HFB was also flitting around, but not working the flowers as diligently; he has a more orange livery.
