I woke really late today - 9 am which is 2 hours later than usual, and I had trouble waking up. I think it's the antihistamines so I'm leaving them off today. 

After the late start, I checked out travel plans. It looks like we're going to take the ferry from Harwich to the Netherlands overnight in June. The cabins are supposed to be well ventilated (I hope they are!) and we'll eat in our cabin and wear masks the rest of the time. It means we get to take the car.

Carly's prescription arrived after some really bad stuff going on between the neurologist who prescribed it and the GP. They were apparently happy for her to be without any meds for a few days while they had a demarcation dispute. Carly is feeling worse but hopefully getting back on a full dose will make her feel better.

I had a lovely chat to the German woman who is helping me with my German while I give her the chance to chat in English. She teaches English and is entirely fluent, she just wants the practice. I, on the other hand... :-)

A neighbour came in to witness James and Carly signing powers of attorney for us. Then I went for a walk round the block. What a very full day.
