Lincoln today

Hair appointments today. Always accompanied by a list of items to buy and an ever increasing number of shops to visit.

The city centre was busier than previously, but of course it is Easter school holidays and there were lots of children. We didn’t have time for coffee today as our appointments were later than usual and we were due a Tesco’s delivery late afternoon, so had to get home.

One bonus was that I’ve discovered where the Post Office has relocated. 50 years ago it was in a large imposing building, which is now a pub. The more recent one has been demolished for site redevelopment and the one I found today is a counter in a small convenience store. I only found that thanks to my phone search and it’s about 50 yards from the hairdressers.
