Strange Yellow Thing in the Sky

Manchester has broken it's record with me. For the first time in my lifetime total of 3 visits to the city, there was no rain and the sun shone.
With a little careful composition I was also able to get a cloud free shot (there were only a few fluffy bits of cotton wool in the sky to avoid).
This is on the top of one of the bridges around the Manchester Ship Canal.
