Dusk

I’ve decamped from Cambridgeshire to Dorset for a week to see my mum and get a few things done for her. This beautiful stretch of tranquil water is sheltered from the sea by a long spit of land that also encloses a boatyard and marshland. It’s a two minute walk from where I’m staying; it’s an ideal place to reboot after the long drive and I was treated a very decent view of an egret searching for a late evening snack. I was too far away to get a decent photo with my iPhone, will try again tomorrow.
