The much-photographed Hawks Mill on the River Gipping just north of Needham Market, caught with my phone on the way back from our trail run this evening. A Victorian watermill, now converted into apartments.

The trail runs are arranged by a local running club - £2 per person for local charity, dogs free, whoever plans the run supplies narrative route descriptions (maps would be so much easier, but we're in the minority on that one, I think!), people run or walk in small groups. It's how we know it's summer - Wednesdays are now for relaxed trail runs, with time to admire the scenery, instead of cross country races.
