Playful Pups

After a lot of pining for a puppy from both mum and I (dad did not want a dog under any circumstances) we impulsively decided on a sunny Monday afternoon to hop into the car and go buy and collect a puppy. Of course, this meant we had no puppy equipment - so had to make do with the cats travel basket and various other things to make this new addition to the family feel like home (much to the cats dismay). Despite the 3AM wee's for a couple of nights - Belle settled in immediately. 

I'm sure you're all thinking; "but surely you didn't just come across a puppy on the internet and decide to set off to a strangers house without any knowledge as to if it was safe or not?". And no, that is not what happened. (Although Facebook ads can be very convincing - we weren't quite that naive). Puppy number two in the photo is Belle's sister Winnie - who's owner told us about Belle. As soon as she said that Belle was the last one in the litter with no home...we just had to. 

So there it is. Just like that, I've made a friend for life. (Anti-Dog dad is also totally besotted with her).
