Stacking for next year

Dan has been slowly piling up the wood for next winter. I like the angles in this photo. And cut wood always makes me happy. We burn about 3 cords a winter in our little home. It's our only heat. Dan says when he lived in the farm house and the one winter he was truly warm he burned six cords of wood and two tons of pellets. Our little place is much easier to heat.
If you don't know a cord is 4 feet wide, 4 feet tall and 8 feet long of stacked wood.
