Nesting

In spite of the ‘anti bird’ spikes on top of the columns of our house, sparrows (or some such small birds) have found a way to nest. In fact, the spikes probably help protect their nest. There are three such nests on various columns around the house.

I don’t mind these small birds: I did want to deter doves and robins as they are both such messy birds and the spikes apparently did that trick.
