New face in town

I spotted this Gadwall hen swimming with the Canada geese in the creek today. It is the first time I have ever seem one around here. They are in our flyway but hubby says he has not seen one here either. The geese have left the nest, I do not know why. The osprey have gone and I have not seen them in days. The swans are still in the creek but not on the nest. The muskrat remains and it is the one I would love to see leave.
