Treasure Chest

TODAY Eli decided to read all of the mail he has gotten over the past couple of years. He has his own mailbox, complete with a little flag and his name on it. He loves to get mail . . .

He keeps it in his treasure chest along with mementos from fun trips and daily excursions.

A wooden ship from Bermuda, a cowbell, duck keychain, carved wooden car and patches from Switzerland and an apple from a local garden shop we got one day when he was just learning to talk and called every fruit an apple. Then there are the Harry Potter eye glasses we got at the book release party of Harry Potter's last book. And the box that holds currency from those places and Mexico.

Opening the treasure box is an adventure in itself. . .
