Evening meal III

Another day of conference. I miss the morning, partly because of the effects of last nights consumption in the bar with John Lakos, and partly because Pete has asked me to do a lightning talk this evening - which I haven’t written yet.

Then it’s time for the conference party. It’s fun, although the changing of seats after each course doesn’t work well at my table - poor distribution of speakers and organisers.

I have good conversations with Matthew, Hannah and Marcia. I explain to Guy why I disagreed with his take on estimation - and discover that he agrees with me. And then I crawl off to bed, long before the witching hour.
