My avocado plant

was looking unhealthy so I was going to  throw it out or try to get a cane.
Anyway a couple of weeks ago I was passing a neighbours house when her Daughter Deborah called me over.Her Mam had just been for radium treatment. I jokingly asked if they had a cane to spare. Miriam said yes and Deborah went to get it from the garden.See photo.
Sadly Miriam died and I was at her funeral today. 
She was one of 10 children so it was packed.Someone mentioned it was full of Amin's.❤
Quite a few neighbours who had moved.We've been here 58 years and they were before us.
I will take care of this plant now :)
