Spring clean

Finally got round to doing some cleaning. Possibly the first time in years. Yes years. I do hoover but really cba with anything else. Anyway last night I swept the studio floor and today got round to dusting and having a bit of a tidy. I had been collecting gin bottles for a while. Some of them are quite beautiful but ultimately they just gather dust so decided to get shut of them. (Otherwise all that will happen is they get even dustier if that's possible - think some have been there for over 4 years so maybe they wouldn't have - and then when we both die at some point in the future, the girls will have to chuck them. So I was just being a thoughtful mother really) 
Also went to Tenterden to pick up my little green book that I'd ordered from Waterstones. You can't beat the feeling of having a new little book to fill up with lists, doodles, reminders, just anything that takes your fancy really. And I got a new green pen - I used to only use green ink wayyyyy back in my 20s so thought I'd have a go at bringing that girl back. Sometimes I miss her.
