Sycamore Bud

I usually associate there signs of sycamore buds opening with the beginning of spring and with their intense green hues this seems very appropriate. However, this year despite many spring flowers being early to bloom the sycamore leaves seem to have lagged behind and it is only in the last few days that I have seen signs of the buds bursting open.
