Assembly Required

The cart arrived today in pieces and because of the rain our outdoor assembly project is delayed until further notice. In the meantime Ducky has confirmed we have everything needed to put it together, hopefully tomorrow but more rain is forecasted for the afternoon. It’s bigger than expected, and without wheels looks very much like a giant litter pan!! • An odd day. I was wide awake at 2:30am. Two of us by 3am. At 4am we decided to get up. By 9:30am I crawled back to bed and slept until noon. Since then we’ve run a couple of quick errands and visited The Boat Landing. The river is full from all of the recent rain and might spill over if the weekend forecast holds • Another woodchuck sighting on our patio, and an abundance of goldfinches, but otherwise not much else happening in the critter department • With the chilly damp weather soup is sounding good for dinner, possibly a faux beef with carrots, onions and potatoes.
