Homeward bound..

At Gatwick, that's the plane I'll be boarding shortly to take me back home. It has been a hard 13 days, back and too to the hospital, not knowing what the outcome for Mum will be, worrying about her and Sarah. I think it is quite apt that it is raining, it sums up my mood.

However, the train journey down was very good, I had an hour stopover in Crewe and managed to see Rose and have a coffee and a productive chat, then I met up with Chris and Faye at Gatwick airport for another hour, peppermint tea and catch up on gossip.

Roy was waiting for me at Alicante, he was very pleased to see me, we went out for a meal and a drink or three, he listened whilst I told him all that had gone on during my visit to the UK.

I think I will sleep well tonight.
