Roulette Retreat

We left mid morning to set off on our adventure! On the way we stopped at Traquair House which is the oldest inhabited house in Scotland. We've been before but it was the first time we've been inside the house. It was very wet but we still had a bit of a walk around the garden although we decided not to attempt the maze.
Then we drove to just outside Melrose to the Roulette Retreat. We saw this on Gone Fishing a few years ago when Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse were fishing on the River Tweed and I have wanted to stay there ever since. Our roulette didn't disappoint as it was very warm and comfortable and everything we needed for a cosy night in!
