Gaillardia

The flower that keeps on giving!  I bought and planted this before I went on holiday.  The house-sitters kept it watered whilst I was away and I was pleased to see it thriving when I returned.  I'm loving the vibrancy it brings to my garden when in flower and the interest it brings when the flower changes to a seed head.  

The extra was found sprouting in the deck where it's left quite a spray of brown spores.........looked too lovely not to photograph though.
