At the waterfront

Spent the day with two of my friends for life here and we went for a walk thro' the park of 'De Horsten' what's just outside Den Haag. There we spotted this creasted grebe on its nest close to the dyke where we walked.
We suppose it's mama grebe here who keeps the eggs warm as the other grebe swimming in the water nearby was larger than this one and should be the male of this grebe pair. She's warned us off with this kind of sound... never before had I heard their voices.
