Lazing Around

An energetic day, starting with a walk and swim before breakfast, then up to the stables to accompany L on a ride on the Chase.

One of the owners of the stables was carrying out livery duties next to us, complete with her dog, who it seems is happiest lying and lazily doing as little as possible. As sweeping of the wood shavings took place around her, she didn't even lift her head.  I even offered her a dog biscuit and she tried to pick it up while resolutely keeping her jaw on the ground. 

We were told that she was happiest lying around doing nothing, something quite unusual for a border collie.  Still she made for a good blip subject.
