M rescued this frog, which had fallen into a water feature (buried bucket) in our “ secret garden”. It had fallen in and couldn’t get out.   Fortunately M spotted it while clearing leaves and has now constructed a mini stone ladder for future frogs that may leap in.
 
Good Friday tends to be a non-event in Scotland so it’s with some bemusement I hear in the media of the road chaos, airport queues and ferry problems as folk struggle to get away for the Easter weekend.
In Scotland its life as normal, partly due to an old tradition where public holidays are spaced out around the country to avoid just this chaos.
