Windermere

Today we arrived at about 3 after the customary bank holiday disaster on the M6. With a big walk planned tomorrow we arrived to do a little stroll, which was steep but turned out to be even shorter than we’d thought. However, we got this nice view and also, to our slight trepidation, a horrible preview into how unfit we have become since having covid. I haven’t done any exercise since and am now low-key dreading our big walk tomorrow! James has been keeping much fitter but has a cold, so he’s in more or less the same position.

Fortunately we are well fuelled with pizza and chocolate brownie.
