St Brelade's Bay, Jersey

Well the queues for Security at Manchester airport weren't too bad this morning and our flight to Jersey landed half an hour early! And we've been treated to a glorious afternoon as you can see from this panoramic photo of St Brelade's Bay taken from just in front of our hotel. The weather forecast hadn't led us to expect such beautiful weather so we had to pop out to buy some suntan lotion so as to avoid getting burnt. What's more it's been lovely seeing lots of family members we've not seen for a long time.

The updated forecast for tomorrow for my Editor's step-niece's wedding is excellent so we hope they're right.

I suspect that tomorrow's blip will have to be backblipped on Sunday as the celebrations are expected to go on until just after midnight.
