long time a-coming

Family reunion - my brother Andy has driven Mum and Dad and Ewa up from Down South to spend Easter weekend with us.

Joe and Kim came to visit for the evening, meeting Ewa for the first time and Kim met my Mum and Dad for the first time as well. Mum and Dad had been unable to go to the wedding in Swansea last month because they both had Covid, so they were pleased that nothing stopped them coming up here. 

We all got on well (it may look as though D is asleep but he isn't!), the old photo albums came out and Joe and Ewa talked (a little) Polish together.

We ate Greek chickpea stew and lemon drizzle cake - my traditional "welcome home" menu :-)
