Expectations

We had none. We booked it fairly last minute and there weren’t many options.
Anyway, Pastel de Nata and coffee 100m from the hotel was as good a start as any.
We wandered, followed our noses, had no plan, it was lovely. More shonky than chi chi, Faro feels very local.
23 degrees is enough to merit a nap in my books, especially after a late night.
Brazilian rodisio for dinner. Oh my word - a continuous stream of meat, slivers sliced off as you please, fraldinha, maminha, picanha, costela. And that was only the beef. There was chicken hearts, pork with cheese, with garlic, alongside the usual sides of farofa, arroz, vinaigrette..... oh and chicken an€ sausage.... the list goes on. I giggled every time another meat appeared, the waitress were amused.
A gorgeous red wine helped with all that and came back to the hotel still half full.
Zoemond this character on the left reminds me of your blip today, your mum’s WIP.
