A Very Small Snail

So today when I came back home from a walk, I saw this adorable tiny snail sitting next to my door handle. 

I can't tell if it's a baby snail, or if it's just a species that is really small.

Are baby snails a thing? Does the shell start out small then grow with the snail? 

I don't know, but it's very cute either way.
