Chenal de Gua nature reserve

We went for a leisurely cycle ride into the town of Vendays-Montalivet this morning for a coffee. On the way back we took the cycle path through the nearby nature reserve. This is the view as you come round round the corner into the reserve. It is always wonderfully peaceful, and at this time of year there is fresh growth everywhere. Often you can see herons fishing in the waters, but there were none today.
