A Grand Day Oot

A trip across Scotland today, Lochinver for pies :-) But first a quite challenging (at least for us) 8+bit km 2,5hr walk to work up an appetite for those famous pies. I have to confess that if I had a choice of only one place in Scotland Assynt would win by a country mile. This was taken along the side of Loch Assynt on our approach to Lochinver. The light was quite stunning just before 9am.
