Goldfrapp and wandering
Up earlyish and some sorting, then drove to Cambridge to get a train to London. Sun out and warm. Headed for Knightsbridge and walked through Hyde Park to get to the Royal Geographical Society, but it was shut, so walked down Exhibition Road, and through Chelsea and Pimlico, where I took this picture of the developments at Battersea Power Station. Down through to Blackfriars to find that Extinction Rebellion were blocking four London bridges - drums and flags. Spent the next few hours on the South Bank and around Waterloo; books and beers; then met my colleague Claire and had a nice meal before heading for the Royal Festival Hall for Goldfrapp. It was a fabulous concert with amazing sound from a string quartet to add extra dimension - sound design was great and we had great seats with no one sat in front of us. Out and headed to try to get the last train and made it with 8 minutes to spare. Took my friend home and then drove back to Norfolk - back just before 2am.
