Monday on NE 8th street

This view is looking eastward toward the Cascade range just over the hills, but not in sight at this juncture of NE 8th street. This is a main arterial going east and west in Bellevue Wa. and leads out to the Lake Hills area where we live. I love the greens and white blossoms framing each side of the street.

Today had everything weather wise...overcast, then sunny, then rains, then a gigantic hail storm with lightening. Frightened both dogs who went into panting frenzies.

Terrible news at the Boston Marathon with death and injuries and sorrow. A happy invigorated event turned into a sickening mess. So sad for all who died, were injured, were in terror....sad for our world today. What happened in Boston is happening in Pakistan and Afghanistan and Iraq and on and on...terror and death by bombs from one source or another. Tears.
