Apple Blossom Time

I haven't shot bugs for a while. I saw and photographed my first speckled wood and orange tip butterflies of 2022. I've decided to post this long hoverfly on crab apple blossom.

The last time I saw the lake ducklings only three were left. :( A new clutch of five appeared today.  One is chocolate-coloured, perfect for Easter. (Extras)

Jack heron was perched in the gum tree on the island. I was surprised to see another heron nearby. It's the first time that I've seen two herons here. (Extras)
