Mother Cap

Today was the day that I got up at stupid o'clock to go on a Landscape Workshop which was run by a good friend of mine "Duncan Fawkes" along with two other members from my local camera club. We set off from Glossop at 04.30 and pulled into Surprise view car park at 05.15. With head torches on and camera gear on our backs we headed up the path through a bit of a wooded area to the destination for our sunrise shoot. I know why it was called surprise view carpark now, the view that we saw when we reached the top was certainly a surprise. This is one of the first shots I took with the cresent moon still in the sky, the temperature was -5 C and the frost had given the Heather a beautiful dusting.
